What visitors see first

Visitors find the shops and the nearest parking from the first screen.

The first thing a downtown visitor wants to know is where to park, and right after that, where to eat. Your tour answers both on the screen that greets every guest, so a visitor is headed the right way before taking a single step.

  • Your street up front The tour opens on a photograph of your own street, your name and your logo.
  • Easy for every visitor Search by name, share a place, plan a step-free route, or switch to Spanish.
  • Nearest first Shops, restaurants and venues sort by distance, and the closest parking is one tap away.
  • Room for a sponsor A local business can put its name on the tour, and every dollar it pays stays with you.

Downtown in 360°

Let visitors stroll the block and step into the shops.

A list of addresses tells visitors where a shop is, but not what it looks like from across the street. StrollPoint puts visitors on your actual sidewalk among the real storefronts, where a guest can step through the door and look around the shop floor before making the trip.

Used by visitors

The map follows every step.

Out on the street

A guest walks right up to the door of the shop they came for.

A first-time visitor downtown does not know the side streets and is usually looking for one shop. StrollPoint shows a guest what that shop sells and whether it is open, then walks them to its door one turn at a time.

  • A card for every shop Hours, a line about the shop and whether it is open right now, before anyone starts walking.
  • Turn by turn, out loud A big arrow, the feet to the next turn, and a voice if a guest wants one.
  • A downtown stamp card Run a passport for a food stroll or an art walk, and bring visitors into more shops.
  • An offer at the door A shop's offer pops up the moment a visitor with the tour open walks past the window.

Maps and QR codes

Put the tour in shop windows, on posters and on paper maps.

A visitor on the sidewalk is one scan away from the whole downtown. Every shop, event and poster can carry its own QR code, so a guest walks into the tour from whatever caught their eye.

  • A screen in a window Leave the tour running on a screen at the visitor center or in a storefront. It asks no passer-by for their location, goes back to its opening view two minutes after the last person walks off, and carries a code so a visitor can take the tour along on their own phone.
  • A map for every event Print a one-page map for the art walk with every stop numbered, the list of who is taking part beside it, and a QR code that opens the event on the tour. Hand it out at the welcome tent, tape it in a window, or send the link to your print shop.
  • Scan at the shop door Give each shop its own code for the front door, the window sign or the table tent. A guest who scans it opens the tour already standing outside that shop, which saves the one step most visitors will not take on their own.

Shop owner updates

Shop owners fix their own hours, and you approve every change.

Keeping hours current for every storefront downtown is a lot of typing for one office. StrollPoint gives each shop owner a private link to fix their own hours, phone and logo, so visitors see what is true today and you stop being the typist for the whole district.

  • A link for each shop Email a shop owner their own private link right from the Front Desk, in one press.
  • Right from a phone Owners correct their hours, phone number, website, menu link and logo without leaving the shop.
  • You have the last word See what a shop sent beside what the tour shows now, and approve it onto the tour and your website.

Your website stays current

Change a shop's hours once, and your website changes too.

A business directory on your website goes out of date the day a shop changes its hours. With StrollPoint the directory, the events and the offers come from the tour itself, so one change in the Front Desk shows on both, with nobody retyping it.

  • In the Front Desk Fix it once here
  • On your website And it shows here, too

Paste a short piece of code into the downtown website you already have, and the shop list, events, offers and sponsors on it are drawn from the tour each time a visitor opens the page. Whoever runs the site sets it up once, and it stays right by itself.

Numbers for your board

See which shops your visitors went looking for.

Your board, your sponsors and your merchants each ask what the tour did for downtown. StrollPoint counts it without knowing who anybody is, and hands each of them the page they need.

  • People and visits Count the people who used the tour, how many visits they made, how long a visit lasted and who came back.
  • A row for every shop Cards opened, calls, directions and menu taps for each shop, ready to forward to the owner.
  • Which poster worked Give each window sticker and poster its own code, and see which one brought people in.
  • Where people went A map of every place opened, marking who stood right there and who looked from somewhere else.
  • Live on event day Put a live board on a screen at the info tent and see where the art walk crowd is right now.
  • The morning after An event report lands in the inbox the morning after, a quarterly board page sits beside your Main Street numbers, and each sponsor gets a link to their own results.
