Consent-First Collection

Navigating a StrollPoint digital guide is entirely anonymous. The platform measures overall property engagement without ever requiring a name or email address. Your contact information is only collected if you explicitly choose to provide it, either by opting into a property’s mailing list or by claiming a digital passport reward.

Digital Passport Redemptions

Digital passport progress is tied locally to your device, not your personal identity. An email address is only requested when you actively claim a completed passport prize. This ensures the destination can securely deliver your reward code and verify that each address claims a prize only once. Providing your email for a prize redemption does not automatically subscribe you to property newsletters unless you explicitly toggle that option "On."

Verified Opt-In (Double Opt-In)

To ensure you maintain complete control over your inbox, StrollPoint utilizes a strict verification process. When you sign up for property updates, you will receive a single confirmation email. You are not added to the active mailing list until you click the confirmation button. If the link remains unclicked, your pending sign-up is automatically purged from the system after 30 days.

The Data Record

When you verify your subscription, the system securely logs:

• Your email address and your name (if provided).
• The specific property and the exact context of your sign-up (e.g., a newsletter, a passport prize, a booking request, or an event RSVP).
• The timestamps of both your initial sign-up and your final verification.
• The exact consent language you agreed to at the time of submission.

Strict Access Control

Your contact information belongs exclusively to the specific property you engaged with. Only the designated property owner and their authorized management team can view your address, and they may only use it to send the specific updates you requested. StrollPoint does not sell, rent, or use your email address for its own marketing, and your information is never shared with other properties on the platform.

Unsubscribing & Data Deletion

You maintain the right to revoke communication access at any time:

• Instant Unsubscribe: Your original confirmation email, as well as any subsequent property newsletters, contains a direct opt-out link. A single click instantly removes you from that property’s mailing list.
• Complete Record Deletion: To have your contact record permanently erased from the platform, you may reply directly to any email received from the tour, or submit a deletion request to [email protected] specifying the relevant property.
