  • Centralized step mapping Managers use a single map interface to pinpoint specific stairways and identify locations that cannot be accessed without steps.
  • On-demand accessibility Guests simply toggle “Accessible Mode” directly from the tour’s navigation bar. The toggle remains off by default and only appears if the property manager has enabled the feature.
  • Intelligent route adjustment The platform automatically calculates walking paths that bypass every marked step. If a specific destination completely lacks step-free access, the system clearly communicates this upfront, ensuring guests have accurate expectations.

Regulatory Conformance

The Department of Justice mandates WCAG 2.1 Level AA conformance for state and local government digital platforms. Compliance is required by April 26, 2027 for populations of 50,000 or greater, and April 26, 2028 for populations under 50,000. StrollPoint is proactively engineered and rigorously tested against this exact standard to ensure inclusive access for all visitors.

Engineering Methodology
