Their name on the tour for the days they paid for, and a report at the end.
A bank, a credit union, a hospital or a big employer pays for the season. You keep the money. StrollPoint never touches it and never takes a cut. The tour carries their name for the days they bought.
At the end they get a one page report of what their name was attached to. That report is usually what renews the sponsorship.
The name as they write it, not as you shorten it. The website they want traffic to. The logo they sent you.
A logo is never cropped by the tour. It is placed whole, whatever shape it is, because a sponsor's mark with the edge cut off is worse than no logo.
A sponsor can have a page of their own inside the tour: a paragraph about them, one picture, and a Learn more link.
Everything on it is optional, and what you leave empty is simply not shown. A sponsor who sent you nothing but a logo still works.
Their place on the tour matters if they are one of your places. Tick it and their page carries Navigate and Jump here, so somebody reading about them can walk to them.
Tier is your own word for what they bought: Presenting, Supporting, Friend of the tour. Nothing in the product depends on it, and it prints on the report.
From and Until are the days their name shows. Empty means until you switch it off.
What they paid is for your records and your board. Visitors never see it. It exists so the sponsor report can tell you what a sponsorship actually returned.
On the tour puts a Sponsored by line in the tour's own chrome, at the top where it is read rather than at the bottom where it is not. Tapping it opens their page.
On the printed map puts their name in the footer of every map you print. A sponsor who paid for the paper usually cares more about this one.
Only one sponsor shows at a time, so with several running you choose how they share:
With more than one sponsor, pressing the line opens the full list, so nobody is hidden.
When the season ends, open the sponsor and press Print their report. One page: how many visits and how many people the tour carried while their name was on it.
Hand it over in person if you can. It is the single most useful thing you can give somebody you are about to ask for next year's money.
Add a sponsor starts a new one and walks through the four steps.
Remove this sponsor takes their name off the tour. Their report stays, so a sponsorship that ended can still be reported on.
