Keep-out zones

Show zones on the map

Paint the no-go area, or pick a shape tool. Erase paints AWAY part of a zone. Right-drag pans, scroll zooms. Drag a node to reshape, drag a midpoint to add a node, right-click a node to delete it.

Draw a zone

Mark the areas nobody can walk through. Any connection whose line crosses a zone is switched off. Add draws zone area · Erase carves it back out with the same tools.

Import Photos

Import photos

Imported points arrive unconnected. You draw every path yourself, and a path you draw stays until you remove it.

Removes the paths earlier versions drew from GPS geometry. Every path you drew, and every tag you aimed, is kept.

Pick one photo or a thousand. Each image is placed on the map by its own GPS, and aimed by its own compass heading when the camera recorded one. A photo that matches a point you already have fills it in; anything else becomes a new point. Any camera, any order, any number of days.

Floor tags

Photos that recorded a compass heading get their floor tags aimed at their neighbours as part of the import, so there is nothing to press. Photos with no heading are still placed by GPS · only their tags need doing by hand. Tags you placed yourself are never touched.

Align & Rotate

1 · Select the points

Pointer takes one at a time, Box drags a rectangle, Lasso traces an area. Picking more always keeps what you already had.

Drag the selection on the map

On: drag any selected pin and the whole selection travels with it. Off: pins are locked.

2 · Align

Left: onto the line between the two furthest points, which never move themselves. Middle: a level row, true east to west. Right: a plumb column, true north to south.

3 · Rotate as an area

Turns around the middle of the selection, clockwise for a positive number. Or grab the orange knob above the selection on the map and turn it freehand, holding Shift to snap to 15 degrees.
